Those of you who have tried to use the Swahili Discussion Forum have probably experienced a great amount of frustration. You log in, click to the next screen, and are asked to log in again. And again. And again. If you are very persistent, you can eventually post your comments, but you are more likely to give up.
This problem has been driving us nuts for some time now. The programmers have been investigating, and now we have an answer. Since we understand the problem, hopefully we will soon have a solution. Here is how the programmers have described the problem, with a path pointing toward a resolution:
"We are using Amazon's Elastic Load Balancer. The load balancer does not support sticky sessions. What this means is that it is not able to be smart enough to sustain user log ins. We found a fix that mentions that we need a server to specifically store sessions and we will also have to bypass the load balancer in the process."

This is the first time I have been locked out for so long. No matter how often I try or what entry point I attempt to use I get the Captcha window which I fill in time and again correctly and correctly and correctly ..... and never get through. It's more than 2 months now. What in the name of heavens has happened to the solution that was mentioned in April 2010?
I have no wish to abandon visiting Kamusi but there's a limit to perseverance and it's getting pretty close to breaking point.
PLEASE DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE ABOUT THIS FAULT.....
