Good news on the Swahili ICT terminology project: we have been able to extend the period by one week. The final deadline for input from the community is this Sunday, March 14.

Habari nzuri kuhusu mradi wa istilahi ya kiteknolojia: tunaweza kuongeza muda wa wiki moja. Siku ya mwisho kupokea maoni kutoka wadau ni Jumapili, 14 Machi.

We have also added one more set of terms, so there are about 150 terms in total that need feedback from the community.

Pia, tumeongeza seti moja ya istilahi, hivyo kuna maneno 150 jumla yanayohitaji maoni kutoka kwa jamii.

So far, we have had good participation for the first pack, but we need help on ALL SIX packs in the project. All we are asking is for each person to click through the packs and tick the button next to the term they think is best, or suggest their own. (If you want, you can also add a comment to any term.) Completing all 6 packs will take between 30 minutes and an hour, total. It is not a hard task, but it is very important!

Hadi wa sasa, watu wengi wamechangia kwenye furushi la kwanza, lakini tunahitaji usaidizi katika mafurushi YOTE SITA kwenye mradi. Tunachoomba ni kwa kila mtu aingie kwenye mafurushi, na abonyeze vitufe pembeni kwa maneno anayodhani yanafaa, au kupendekeza neno lingine. (Ukitaka, unaweza kuandika maoni mengine chini ya neno lolote.) Kukamilisha mafurushi 6 yote kutakuchukua muda kati ya dakika 30 na saa moja, kwa jumla. Si kazi ngumu, lakini ni muhimu saaaaana!
